Description of Park

Spread out across the northern part of the village of Montauk, this site features a soccer field and an ADA accessible comfort station on South Erie Streettwo 60’ baseball diamonds, a playground, and an ADA accessible comfort station at the corner of South Edgemere Street and South Erie Street, and the Montauk Skate Park “Lars Simenson Skate Park” which includes a basketball court on South Essex Street. (Specific rules for the Montauk Skate Park are listed on that Park’s webpage.)

Park Hours

  • Park open year-round – 9am to sunset (unless otherwise permitted)   
  • ADA accessible comfort stations – mid-May through Thanksgiving 

Little League/Softball Field & Soccer Field Reservations

To reserve a ballfield or the soccer field, you must contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 631-324-2417 and also submit a Field Use Application. Fees may apply.

Henry “Hank” Zebrowski 

In May of 1999, the Town (as requested by the Montauk Lions Club) dedicated the naming of Lions field as Henry “Hank” Zebrowski Memorial Park. Known as “Mr. Z,” he was also a teacher and Athletic Director at the Montauk School. A beloved member of the Montauk community, Hank was named as the Grand Marshal of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade back in 1994.

Park Rules

  • Park open 9am to sunset (unless otherwise permitted)
  • No unauthorized commercial activity
  • No alcohol, tobacco, or any illegal substance allowed on the premises
  • No Vehicles Beyond Designated Areas
  • Dogs should be controlled at all times and pick up after your dog 
  • Park usage is “At Your Own Risk”
