Governor Cuomo’s Executive Oder No. 202.1, dated March 13, 2020, suspended the Open Meetings Law requirement that the public be permitted to appear in person at meetings to present comment. It permitted meetings to be conducted by video conferencing, to be live streamed with public comment, if possible, and further required that a transcript be filed and made publicly accessible.
In compliance with this requirement, the Town of East Hampton has posted all public hearing transcripts for review and comment on the Town website. Persons interested in reviewing transcripts and commenting are directed to: https://ehamptonny.gov/DocumentCenter/Index/359
Comments will be accepted in writing by email addressed to the Town Clerk at: Cbrennan@EhamptonNY.gov, or by mail to:
Town Clerk, 159 Pantigo Road, East Hampton, N.Y. , and received by the Town Clerk by the close of business no later than one week following the public hearing, or within one week following the posting of the transcript, whichever is later.
