Airport
The Town of East Hampton Airport is situated on 600 acres on the western border of the Town of East Hampton.

Animal Control
The Animal Control Department is responsible for enforcing the local and state laws as they pertain to the licensing and harboring of dogs.

The Aquaculture Department exists for the purpose of enhancing commercially valuable molluscan shellfish stocks in local waters.

The Town Attorney's Office is responsible for contracts, coordinating with special outside counsel, providing legal advice to the Appointed Boards and Town Board, as well as the various Town Departments.

The Building Department serves our residents and patrons in a respectful and professional manner on an equal basis.

Bureau Of Administrative Adjudication
The Bureau of Administrative Adjudication has jurisdiction over civil violations under the Town Code relating to conditions which constitute a threat or danger to the public health, safety or welfare.

Division of Finance
The Division of Finance has a fiduciary responsibility to the residents and taxpayers of the Town of East Hampton to ensure all matters involving Town finances are executed in a transparent and professional manner.

Division of Public Safety
The Public Safety Division is an administrative department presiding over the Building Department, Fire Safety Department, Ordinance Enforcement Department, and the Animal Control Unit.

Emergency Preparedness
The Town of East Hampton disseminates time-sensitive, emergency preparedness, response, and recovery information.

Engineering
The Engineering Department was created in 2001 to assist other Town Departments in engineering related matters for the primary purpose of allowing said department to complete their work.

Fire Prevention
It is the mission of the Fire Marshal's Office to prevent and reduce the incidence of fire by increasing the awareness and knowledge of both the residents and business owners with respect to fire safety and by ensuring compliance with the New York State Fire Safety Code and applicable regulations of the State of New York as well as The Code of the Town of East Hampton.

Highway
The East Hampton Town Highway Department maintains 300 center lane miles of roads in an area that spans from Montauk to the East Hampton/Southampton Town Line and Sag Harbor to the North.

The Information Technology (IT) Department, within the Finance Division of the Town of East Hampton, is responsible for the coordination, implementation, installation, maintenance and oversight of town computer systems, networks, data, email, Graphical Information System, Internet and digital communications systems used by various departments and divisions within the Town of East Hampton.

The Justice Court has original jurisdiction over all crimes occurring in the Village and Town of East Hampton, and handles violations and misdemeanors to conclusion.

The Natural Resource Department, founded in 1984, preserves, protects and conserves the Town’s natural features, resources and systems.

The Ordinance Enforcement Department, enforces all Town Codes and resolutions including but not limited to health and safety, housing, zoning, environmental, noise, lighting, zoning and permits.

Parks & Building Maintenance
The Buildings and Grounds Department is responsible for the maintenance, repair and service of almost of every one of the 120 properties the Town owns.

The Planning Department provides professional planning and technical services regarding the town's land use, its environmental choices, its infrastructure, and its cultural and natural resources.

The Department dedicates itself to the procurement of the right goods and services at the right price for the various Town Departments in a timely manner assuring the prudent and economical use of public monies while upholding to all laws and regulations of NYS General Municipal Law and the Town of East Hampton in the process.

The Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Buildings and Grounds Department, oversees and maintains approximately 45 parks and beaches, and the Montauk Playhouse.

The Receiver of Taxes is responsible for the preparation, distribution and payment of more than 24,000 property tax bills in the Town of East Hampton.
