To conduct marine law enforcement on the waters subject to the jurisdiction of East Hampton Town and the State of New York.
Conduct search and rescue operations within the jurisdiction of the Town and State and assist the United States Coast Guard in matters that pertain to public safety.
Assist other Town departments in matters of public safety and enforcement with the marine environment.
Act as primary enforcement department for the waterways, beaches, shell fish and nature preserve sections of the East Hampton Town Code.
