Annually, the Town of East Hampton receives approximately $104,400 in Federal Community Development Block Grant Funds. These funds may be used, and have been used for a variety of projects that benefit Low and Moderate Income Persons, Aid in the Prevention or Elimination of Slums or Blight and/or Meet a Need Having a Particular Urgency.

Public service activities are limited to a maximum of 15% of the total grant. The amount of the final funding is subject to congressional appropriation.
