Beaches

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, The Town of East Hampton is asking for your cooperation in adhering to the rules posted at our beaches regarding social distancing of 6 feet, wearing masks when social distancing is not possible, setting up blankets and chairs at least 10 feet apart, and never within 20 feet of the dunes. Entering and exiting the beach has specific signs to help guide foot traffic, as to keep patrons apart as well. There are also certain games/activities which are still not permitted until further notice (the lifeguards can assist you if you have any questions). And please, always wear a mask in the parking lots, and in/around the comfort stations, porta potties, and vendors. Thank you for helping to keep this “summer like no other” as safe as possible.

Given the size and scope of the Town of East Hampton’s holdings, expanding accessible opportunities at our facilities is an evolving and ongoing project. We also strongly recommend that you contact our Parks Department at 631-324-2417 in advance of your visit to understand what you can expect and how best to make your experience positive. If you require an accommodation, we welcome you to contact the Parks Department  at least two working days prior to your visit.
